Once your kayaks hit the water, follow your guide down the scenic Waccamaw River and around our exclusive 48-acre private island. Let the untouched natural beauty of the river wilderness unfold before your eyes, as you paddle through this serene paradise. Keep your senses sharp – you might spot fish, turtles, snakes, birds, deer, or catch a glimpse of a barred owl during this immersive tour.

But it's not just about the paddle. Your guide knows the best spots, and they'll make a pit-stop at the island. Everyone gets a chance to stretch their legs, explore the array of activities we offer, and get the inside scoop on the island's upcoming events. It's not just a kayak tour; it's a full-on island experience.

Kayak/SUP Rental

 

Rent a kayak or stand-up paddle board to explore the Waccamaw River on your own. Our adventure guides will get you familiar with your equipment and give you instructions on which areas of the river to visit and how to get back to our Outpost. Pack a lunch and paddle down to a secluded sandy beach on the river for a fun adventure.
